We had a great opening weekend for the Oxmoor Pool. I hope everyone was able to come out and enjoy the festivities. Special thanks to DJ Teague Ridge for helping make our Memorial Day pool party a great success. Please note some important pool information below.
POOL COMPLEX- weekday OPENING TIME is 3:00 pm.
For the next two weeks, Tuesday-Friday, the pool complex will OPEN at 3:00 pm.
We will resume normal summer operating hours 11:00 am.-8:00 pm. on Tuesday, June 10.
POOL INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY.
Under the rules governed by the Louisville Board of Health, if lightning is seen or thunder is heard, the pool deck must be cleared for the next 30 minutes. Our lifeguard staff will alert all attendees to take shelter.
OXMOOR STINGRAY SWIM TEAM
Our swim team season is about to start….but it’s not too late to join the fun.
Wednesday, May 28th - evening practice starts; 7 pm - 8 pm
Sunday, June 1st - Coaches meeting and stroke & turn clinic at Hillcrest. Coaches meet at 5:00 pm. Stroke & turn clinic at 5:30 pm. Each team must provide at least 1 stroke & turn official at each meet. To be considered an SFL stroke & turn official, you must either be a current USA official or attend the SFL Stroke & Turn clinic on this date. If you have attended in the past you are encouraged to attend again. Any team not meeting the requirement of at least 1 official per meet will be fined.
Monday, June 2nd - Morning practice begins for those out of school; 10 am - 11 am
Tuesday, June 3rd - Mandatory parent meeting for new and returning parents; during practice 7 pm - 8 pm near the Stingray Café.

There is still time to register. You do not have to be an Oxmoor member to be on the swim team so please pass this along to your friends and neighbors who may be interested in swimming.
SATURDAY, JUNE 7.
The pool complex will close early @ 5:00 pm. due to our Crystal Classic Awards Dinner & Cookout.
